Before all of the of VIB posts start (sorry in advance) I wanted to pop up a quick October favorites! You'll see a lot of repeats in this - I've been digging out old products and saving up for VIB.
Charlotte Tilbury Blush 'First Love' : This blush has made the rounds on a few favorite's posts this year (aka you'll probably see it in my 2016 overall favorites). It's just the right amount of color, neutral enough to go with any look, and has just enough shimmer to be flattering.
Make Up For Ever Step 1 Smoothing Primer : I've been using this on my t-zone area primarily. I find that area to be where my pores are biggest and this has the most impact. I've been super high maintenance and using multiple primers - one to give me glow all over and this one to smooth out the center of my face.
Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara : Are you tired of this one yet? It's definitely a staple in my routine and so inexpensive. I tried the non-waterproof version recently though and could tell a major difference. Even though the waterproof one is a pain to remove it gives my lashes crazy length, volume, and keeps them curled unlike any other mascara!
Buxom Full On Lip Cream 'White Russian' : I've been a huge fan of these glosses for quite a while now (I've pretty much used up my shade Hot Toddy). Since that one is running low I opted to test a new shade out this time. White Russian is a Jaclyn Hill favorite and for good reason. It's that perfect pinky nude shade - just enough color, lots of gloss.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette : This is a repeat offender - two months in a row. I pick up this palette literally every day. I use the neutral shades in my crease no matter what look I'm doing and also love to play with the bolder shades (something you'll see in a post later this week)! I've had a lot of people ask recently which ABH palette I would recommend overall - and it's definitely this one.
Kat Von D Shade + Light Contour Palette : I pulled this out a few weeks ago to contour with and realized how perfect the whole palette is in general. I've actually put away my other bronzers for the time being (I've lost most of my tan) and find that the shades in this palette suit me much better at the moment. All matte, less of an orange undertone.
