Five Vampy Lipsticks To Get You Through Fall

The other week I put together a post sharing my top nude lipsticks to transition to Fall which you can read HERE...today we're diving right into full blown vampy Fall shades. I find once the temperatures start to drop I want shades as deep as you can get them and formulas super matte. I've rounded up a few lipsticks as well as some liquid lips that I love to wear religiously.

Tom Ford 'Black Dahlia'* : This has been my holy grail, ride or die for the past two Falls and I'm so excited to bring it back out! Hands down it's the lipstick that I have received the most compliments on. The formula is a gorgeous matte that isn't too drying and the pigmentation is out of this world. Super comfortable on the lips and super easy to apply. While it looks terrifyingly dark, it's incredibly flattering on due to it's cool toned burgundy shade (this means your teeth look nice and white while wearing)!

Charlotte Tilbury 'Glastonberry' : Glastonberry is one of those products that I kept seeing over and over again and never had the chance to snag - until I made my way to an actual CT counter. Between the gorgeous packaging and the shade it's such a luxurious option. A little more cool toned due to it's purple-berry tones this one is also super flattering.

Anastasia Beverly Hills 'Vamp' : This is my total obsession for the Fall (and a shade I've already been wearing). A deep brown/red shade this one is a bit different than your standard burgundy and berry toned lipsticks. The brown keeps this more neutral, yet it's incredibly flattering on. The formula of these liquid lips is one of my favorite - however I will say to be careful while it's driving down to not rub your lips together. That is my only issue I've had with these since it messes with the formula and can create some cracking.

Jolii Cosmetics 'Terra'* : This shade is so unique and so beautiful! It is a gorgeous warm toned, burnt terracotta shade and looks gorgeous on. These liquid lips are very comfortable on, however I would say that the dry down time is much longer than other liquid lips I own so transferring can occur to some extent.

Kat Von D 'Lolita' : Ahh the famous Lolita. This is one of those super mysterious shades that when swatched on my hand did nothing for me - but upon applying to my lips it's amazing. Super, super flattering and probably the easiest shade to wear out of these options. It's a bit lighter than the others and has a beautiful chestnut rose tone to it. In true KVD fashion it's super comfortable on the lips, easy to apply, and long lasting.
