July has been one of those months where I looked around my beauty stash to see what was new and most loved from the month and really only came up with a few pieces - yet my credit card statement seems to show a whole lot more in the purchasing department...We will chalk that up to clothing and experiences I assume. (Anyways it sparked a need for a shopping ban - until Fall that is.) Enough rambling though - let's dig into this favorites post!
Charlotte Tilbury Color Chameleon 'Amber Haze' : This is an older purchase (back from my trip to LA in December) that got pushed to the back of my stash and not used nearly enough. It's been on heavy rotation this month and makes for a super easy and quick eye look in the morning. I smudge it all over the top lash line, layer up lots of mascara and out the door I go. It's easy to blend out, gives a nice bit of definition, and has a subtle hint of shimmer. The collection is also meant to correlate with your eye color (this one is for brown eyes) so it definitely helps to make my eyes pop a bit more.
Hourglass Vanish Foundation Brush* : This brush (along with the stick foundation) landed on my doorstep a few weeks ago. I've got a full post coming on the new foundation + the brush tomorrow, so I won't go into too much detail but I had to give this guy a shout out. This brush is so amazing. It's super soft, densely packed, and blends out product flawlessly. I also really love the size, it's great for my face shape and for throwing in a travel bag.
Urban Decay Beached Bronzer 'Bronzed' : This is probably my number one purchase from the past few weeks. I get so excited to pull it out each morning. One, because of the packaging...but also because I love the step of adding bronzer to the face. I feel like my entire face changes with a few swipes of a good bronzer. This formula is super creamy, has just the right amount of pigmentation, is super blendable, and works well when I'm paler and when I have a tan. See full post HERE.
Cover Fx Custom Drop Enhancers 'Moonlight' : I'm sure there is zero surprise to see this listed on my favorites seeing as most of the blogging world has been talking about these. I went for them originally because of how insanely metallic and shimmer these swatched, but was pleasantly surprised to learn how versatile they are. From mixing with foundation, to being amped up, or sheered out on the skin they can be used and worn in a bunch of different ways for different looks. I also love adding the left over drops to my collar bone and shoulders. See full post HERE.
YSL Touche Éclat Le Teint Foundation : This has been my go-to foundation along with my NARS Tinted Moisturizer this month. I've been grabbing this for days at work when I really want to be done up (big meetings, days with clients, etc) or for evening wear. Don't be fooled though, it's not a super heavy coverage and it definitely gives off a nice glowy finish (it's just more than a tinted moisturizer would provide). One thing I really love about the range is how large their color selection is. Not only do they have a wide variety of shades - they also have each of those shades done in cool, warm, and neutral tones. Meaning there is a shade for almost everyone out there. See full post HERE.
