The Ultimate Glowing/Bronzed Makeup [Using Cover Fx 'Moonlight']

The other weekend, without even really thinking about it I threw on some makeup to go out and when I looked in the mirror realized just how bronzy and glowing it was. The ultimate "summer look" if you will. Skin that is bronzed, glowing, and fresh. Eyes that are easy, yet dramatic enough for an evening out. This is a look that took maybe fifteen minutes, but gives off just the right amount of polish and glam for a hot July night.

I amped up the hydrating for this look and used my current favorite duo - the Marc Jacobs + Becca Primers to give an extra glowy base. Since this was an evening look I used a true foundation, but picked on that had glow to it. I wanted the base to stay light and fresh, but still a fuller coverage than a BB Cream. For my eyes I used the darker shade in the crease and then popped the lighter golden shade on the lid - blending out a ton to keep the look effortless and neutral. I added a ton of mascara to my lashes and kept my brows low key to keep the look from being too done (which is just a personal preference because I already have a lot of brow). The fun part comes in the form of the glow + highlight. I bronzed all over - skipping contour and then went in with the Cover Fx drops. I drop one drop to the back of my hand and then added it to the high points of my face (using my fingers) and used the extra for my collarbone and shoulders. I set it with the Becca highlighter and then used that on my inner corner. I finished off the look with a bit of Glossier Balm Dotcom.
