Two Splurge Purchases Worth Buying

A few weeks ago I made a semi-impulsive mini beauty haul and picked up two products - one I'd been wanting for quite some time and one brand new release. After a few weeks of testing both products, they have lived up to the hype and have a permanent home in my stash.

Marc Jacobs Undercover Perfecting Coconut Face Primer : This is one of those products that has had such a hype/good review (to the point that two different Sephoras were completely sold out of it when I went to buy it) and ended up being just as great as everyone claimed it to be. This primer is deeply hydrating, super lightweight, and creates a perfectly prepped base for foundation. Upon application the primer dries quickly and leaves my skin soft and hydrated - not sticky or tacky. It helps to add a nice glow and keeps my foundation from getting patchy.

YSL Beauty Vinyl Couture Mascara 'Black' : After I heard people describing this mascara as an upgraded version of the Faux Cils Mascara, I knew I needed to get my hands on it. This mascara is definitely a "wet look" formula/finish and less heavy/clumpy than the Faux Cils. It can be applied lightly or built up for a more dramatic look.

What recent purchases have you been loving?
Anything that needs to go to the top of my want/need list?
