The Review | Ouai Hair Products

When sleek packages of Ouai products began popping up on social media, I just knew I needed to get my hands on them. Products created by Jen Atkin - the queen behind the locks of Kim KW & co...sign me up. After seeing rave reviews, my lusting after them only became stronger.

Finding them in an actual Sephora proved harder than I thought, they're a rare find in-store (but readily available on Sephora's site). When I eventually got my hands on them, I was ecstatic (and they were everything I hoped they'd be). Onto the review...

Texturizing Spray : This was the main product I wanted to get my hands on. I had been using Oribe, but when my bottle ran out I never repurchased. So I was ready to test something new. This product is excellent, it gives volume to my hair without being crunchy, stiff, or making it dirty/greasy. The scent in this product is strong - so if you are one who doesn't like super perfumey products you might want to skip out on this one. I love the scent and love how it lingers in my hair. Once it's been in for a few minutes the smell is less powerful and softens.

Hair Oil : This product is the one that has truly wow'd me. It leaves behind the most beautiful sheen to my hair, but isn't greasy or heavy at all. Putting it in is even a breeze because it dries down and doesn't leave my hands a mess. I prefer to use this when my hair is damp, post-shower, before blow drying. It can be used on dry hair though for extra sleekness! This one also has a prominent scent, a bit different than the spray but just as lovely!

Have you tried any products from the line? What are your go-to hair products?
