Just Landed | Dior Spring 2016

Dior is a brand that became an instant love for me - their packaging is sleek, the products are gorgeous, and everything I've ever tried lives up to it's hype. Their base products totally rule my makeup drawers these days (I own two, but am dying to add a third to my stash). So when a few stunning launches landed on my doorstep I was beyond excited.

Diorskin Forever Fluid : Described as a luminous matte, this is the base that I reach for lately on days when I don't want to use a BB or CC cream. It gives a flawless finish with medium (but buildable coverage). Even though it has a fuller coverage than a BB or CC cream, it still feels super lightweight and very natural. It's long-lasting and comes in twelve shades so the spectrum is pretty wide for color matching. (This does have a slight fragrance, although it's one that I adore - that high end product scent so many brands have.)

Diorskin Nude BB Crème : This was my first dip into the Dior addiction and gets a rave review from me. Dewy, lightweight, and hydrating - it is my idea base for most days. It gives off a flawless, natural finish and does a great job of evening out my skin tone. I also find that Dior bases (both the Forever Fluid and this one) seem to have skin nourishing properties and that just by using the foundations my skin seems to do better. Like the Forever Fluid this one also has the same fragrance noted above.

Capture Totale La Crème Multi-Perfection : This cream is that hands up emoji come to life. It is so thick and lovely and just feels super luxurious. I absolutely love this for nighttime use. This moisturizer leaves my skin super hydrated, plump, and glowing. While it's a thicker product, it doesn't leave me feeling sticky or caked in moisturizer.

5 Couleurs Glowing Gardens - Rose Garden : One of the two limited edition palettes for Spring. This one comes with a springy green, light yellow, a gorgeous neutral, a brown, and a beautiful blushy highlight in the center. This is a true Spring collection, light airy, and fresh. While the green and yellow can seem intimidating, they are soft and super pretty. The neutral shades are beautiful and the highlight is a perfect shade for the brow bone or the inner corner.

Diorblush Sculpt : This is Dior's first dip into contour and it is right up my street. I love the gorgeous neutral shades and how buildable the colors are. The highlight is super pretty as well and a nice change of pace from my usual Champagne Pop. Both shades are soft and light upon application but easy to build up (something I look for in a bronzer/contour so that things stay more natural).

Nails + Lips

Dior Vernis 'Bleuette' & 'Lilac' : How stunning are these nail polishes? I absolutely cannot get enough of the two shades for Spring. Opening them up made me want to immediately take off all my black polish and put these on. I always end up craving these shades right around April so I can already tell these will be getting a whole lot of use.

Dior Lip Addict Glow Liner : One of the pieces I was most excited about. This liner is not like your typical MAC lip liner. It's super soft and creamy and transforms to your perfect shade upon application. The liner also helps to moisturize and plump up your lips. I tend to wear this all over and have also applied a clear balm on top.

Have you picked up any of the newer launches from Dior? What are some of your favorite pieces for Spring?
