Another month down and another month closer to 2016 - how crazy! Keeping on trend with this month's love of palettes, I had to include a few in this favorites. It's also the time of year to up the shimmer (in both highlight form and eyeshadow form) so I've thrown in my favorites for that as well!
Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion : Oh Primer Potion...where have you been all my life?? This is the first primer that really seems to work for my eyes. I can drastically tell how much better shadow works with it as well as how extra pigmented everything seems.
Charlotte Tilbury Dolce Vita Palette* : I always pull this palette out around this time each year and it makes me incredibly excited about the holidays. Nothing screams holiday glam to me like the copper glitter shade on the bottom left. I wear that one alone, all over the lid with lots of black mascara and a small cat flick. I also absolutely adore the cranberry shade.
Rodial XXL Lip Liner 'Baby'* : This liner is new to me this month and I totally love it. It's creamy, perfectly neutral, and works well all over the lips or to enhance a nude lipstick.
Sephora Contour Powder Brush #79 : I have been so impressed with this brush that I want to head out and buy a bunch more Sephora brand brushes (especially their foundation brush). The brush itself is super soft, doesn't shed too much, and is perfectly tapered to work under the eye. I use this with the Kat Von D palette.
Kat Von D Shade + Light Contour Palette : My favorite buy from the Sephora sale. I can't rave about this one enough and have used this one daily since purchasing it. I use the left and middle shades the most. The lighter shades I use to set under my eyes, my nose, my forehead, and chin. The dark shade on the left I use to contour my cheekbones and the middle shade I use to warm up my face overall. The formula is super smooth, very creamy for a powder, very pigmented, and highly milled.
Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Glow Palette : I couldn't wait to get my hands on this bad boy and haven't stopped using it since the day it came out. I primarily use Pearl and Champagne Pop, but I also use Blushed Copper over blush and on the eyes. My favorite is to combine Pearl and Champagne Pop for a gorgeous light highlight.
By Terry Ombré Blackstar 'Bronze Moon' : This is one of those items I've had in my stash for a while, but just dug out and starting falling in love with again. It's got the most gorgeous formula and is multi-use. I love using it on my lower lash line (especially with the Dolce Vita palette on top) or all over my eye for a bit of a darker, less glittery shimmer look. It is super creamy and very long lasting.
Now, do tell...what are your favorites from this past month? I still need to add a few things to my Christmas wish list ;)
