The October Edit

With the end of October near, I decided it would be fun to round up the products I've been wearing most (separate from an October favorites) and share those with you guys! As you can see from the image I've been loving pinky nudes, lots of neutrals, shimmer on the eyes, and of course my standard black cat flick.

With the weather still being pretty warm, I've been sticking with a lighter base - in the form of NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer. I'll be switching to Sheer Glow soon (I've actually already pulled it out) so I've been getting as much use out of my lighter bases while I can. Finishing off my base, I've been testing out the Rodial Airbrush Concealer* recently. So far, it's a great pick. It's got good coverage, the color is great, and it blends nicely.

For cheeks I've been sticking with two solid favorites - the Tom Ford duo in 'Moodlight'* and the NARS blush 'Madly'. I don't plan on putting either of these away any time soon; they both do such a beautiful job of highlighting the cheek bones in a warm and glowy way. They are also so neutral so they really work with any look and are perfect for traveling (something I've done a lot of this month).

For my eyes I've done one of two things, I've either gone light and shimmery with one of the Pür Eye Polishes* or dramatic and metallic with the NARS Dual Intensity Shadow in 'Telesto'. I love wearing 'Telesto' wet for a deep metallic sheen and finishing it off with a cat flick and loads of mascara.

For lips I've been loving a high end neutral and a drug store neutral. Both are equally as beautiful, but both dramatically different. The YSL #1 is a pinky nude, super hydrating and creamy which the Maybelline 'Nude Embrace' is a more brown nude with a matte finish.

I'm already excited for November - switching up my base, adding in more vampy lipsticks, and playing with a few new eyeshadow palettes. Let me know in the comments below what you've been wearing this month and what you're excited to start wearing next month!
