While I was in New York a few weeks back I decided to grab a few items and do a mini-haul while out shopping in Soho with Sarah. While there was a ton that I saw and wanted, I kept it to a few minimal items.
NARS Radiant Tinted Moisturizer : When we popped into 413 Bleecker, I knew that I wanted to grab a base product. The Radiant Tinted Moisturizer had been my very first high-end base purchase many years ago, but I haven't used it recently. I decided to repurchase since I already own Sheer Glow and Luminous Weightless and I currently prefer lighter more hydrating bases. This one is super radiant and very hydrating. The formula definitely gives a much lighter coverage than Sheer Glow or Luminous Weightless, but can be built up.
MAC Palette ['Soft Brown' & 'Cranberry'] : While in the MAC store I decided to spur of the moment start building a palette. Since I'm not to the point of needing the massive on (just yet) I went for a foursome and snagged two shades to start with. 'Soft Brown' is a beautiful, warm neutral that works perfectly as an all over base, a crease shade, or one for blending out colors. 'Cranberry' was a Tanya Burr inspired purchase and I couldn't be happier with the choice for Fall. I love wearing it all over the lid, smoked out, with a ton of jet black mascara.
MAC Mineralize Blush 'Warm Soul' : 'Warm Soul' is a purchase that continues my love of neutral, every day blush. It's a subtle peachy neutral with a light shimmer that runs through it. It has a nice pigmentation, but it's not overly pigmented meaning it's almost impossible to over apply. It builds beautifully and has a super soft texture. Overall, a total winner.
Do any of you use these products? Have any of you started a MAC palette? If so, what shades do I need to add to mine next?
