August Beauty Favorites

As I sit here and type up this list of favorites I seriously cannot believe that summer is coming to a close. This months favorites focus on a quite a few products that give you some serious summertime glow and the odd I'm super excited for cooler weather, pre-fall pick.

Becca x Jaclyn Hill, 'Champagne Pop' Highlighter : In the words of Jaclyn herself can I get a YAAAASSS?! This highlighter is everything and more; it has the most amazing shimmer and gives an incredible glow. The highlight is a golden shade with peachy undertones.

Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler : Earlier this month Ashlyn snagged us both one of these infamous curlers. I can't believe it took me this long to actually own one. It curls my lashes without pinching them and definitely makes a big difference.

Hourglass, Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil* : For the longest time I swore by the Anastasia Brow Wiz but have totally been converted by Hourglass's pencil. I love the angled nib, formula, and the spoolie on the end is A+. Hourglass has also recently added a bunch of new shades to their range of brow pencils (including my current one, Ash).

Hourglass, Lipgloss 'Child' : I never in a million years thought I would say these words...Snapchat made me buy a beauty product. But well, it did and specifically it was via Lou Teasdale's Snapchat. I've talked previously about my love for the British hair and makeup mega babe, and how she continues to inspire me. She featured 'Child' in one of her mini Snapchat tutorials and I had to have it immediately. (Aka I actually went to Sephora the next day to get it.) This gloss definitely doesn't disappoint. It's a perfect nude with an amazing non-sticky formula that's not too glossy and not too matte. I've reached for more this month than any other lip product I own. It's basically all I want to wear most of the time.

YSL Touche Éclat : I pulled this bad boy out earlier in the month and totally fell in love with it again. I forgot how great it is at highlighting the inner corner and brow bone.

Tom Ford, Lipstick 'Black Dahlia'* : In anticipation of Fall I pulled out this well loved Tom Ford lipstick this past month. I've been loving the contrast of glowy skin, a toned down eye, and this dark vampy lip. It feels fresh and exciting.

IT Cosmetics, Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream* : When this base landed on my doorstep back in July it totally blew me out of the water. It's the base I've worn consistently since it came out of it's box. It's got great coverage while still being dewy and very skin like. It also has crazy good staying power and a high SPF. A total win/win. It definitely lives up to it's name of "Your Skin But Better".

Hourglass, Ambient Lighting Palette* : How did I ever live without this palette?! Holy game changer right here. Whether I've layered it with Champagne Pop or worn it on it's own there hasn't been a day I haven't put it on since it made it's way into my life. I use it on my cheeks, my eyes as a light shadow, my inner corner, my brow bone, and down my nose. Basically, I just bathe in it. It gives the skin a glowing, luminous, and perfected finish. I love wearing the shades on their own or mixing them together.

So per usual, now I need to know everything you've been loving! Spill the beans down below :)
