Up until last Sunday I was the beauty blogger who'd almost never touch a set of false lashes. Need me to wing out some liner...no problem, want a Kylie Jenner-esque pout...I've got you, looking for some cool braids...I can handle that, but false lashes and I just didn't get along.
I completely understand how to apply them; it's just that something almost always goes terribly wrong during the application of a full strip. This then leaves me with a mess on my face and having to start everything over. Here's where the individual lashes enter the scene. These little guys are so easy to whack on where needed and blend seamlessly into my lashes. First up I curl the heck out of my lashes and apply my mascara as I normally would. Then I dip each lash in a small dot of glue, let them get tacky, and then pop them on where needed. I tend to go back and forth between each eye to allow them to dry some. I also grabbed a clear lash glue this time - since my eye makeup tends to be pretty dark most of the time, this is helping to avoid any noticeable glue spots.
Below are a few different styles from the range I've been loving along with some other lash enhancing necessities. At the moment I've been using a shorter more natural lash, but I'm dying to get my hands on ones that are a tad more dramatic. Now tell me, what are your favorite lash brands and tips for applying?
