A few weeks back the new Zoeva Cocoa Blend palette landed on my doorstep wrapped in the cutest packaging (resembling a chocolate bar). Upon opening I found a full set of warm neutrals with a few unique shades thrown in; and I was instantly intrigued.
With great color payoff and a gorgeous finely-milled formula, the palette became an instant favorite. I love how the shades are all neutral but still a bit different than the standard warm-toned nudes you'd see in something like the Naked Basics palette. Here is a run down of a few of my favorite shades...
Bitter Start is a stunning matte highlight perfect for the brow bone (similar to MAC Vanilla). Sweeter End is a shimmer that has an almost lavender appearance and is a also gorgeous highlight (even applied on the cheek-bones). Subtle Blend is a seriously gorgeous coppery sparkle and looks amazing worn over top of bronzer on the eyes - I love using my NARS bronzers as eyeshadows. Last but not least is Warm Notes, (which is without a doubt my favorite and oddly enough my most used) a stunning cranberry shade with a bit of shimmer. This one is similar to MAC Cranberry or even Antiqued.
Below is a quick snap of a full look I did inspired by Tanya Burr and using this palette! I used a combination of Warm Notes all over and blended out, Bitter Start on my brow bone, and Sweeter End as a highlight!
Do any of you own this palette or any other Zoeva products? Let me know in the comments below! Also, let me know me what eyeshadows you are loving at the moment. As you can tell I'm on a huge cranberry kick, but I'd love to know what you're into!
