With March having some not-so-pleasant weather, I'm not going to say I'm sorry to see it leave go. However, bad weather aside March was filled with some fantastic beauty finds and rediscoveries.
Chanel 'Les Beiges, Tinted Moisturizer' : Since my skin is fairly dry I'm always looking for great ways to add extra moisture to my base. I'm also in a phase where I want my base to be light and effortless. Enter the Chanel Les Beiges Tinted Moisturizer. This is actually my first tinted moisturizer and I'm in serious love. I have worn it consistently since I purchased it, and love the lighter coverage mixed with a bit of concealer where needed. This is definitely one that won't be leaving my makeup bag any time soon.
NARS Illuminator '413 BLKR' : This is a product I purchased last summer and haven't touched much in the cooler months. I pulled it out the other weekend though and instantly remembered why I fell in love with it. The tiniest drop gives the prettiest creamy sheen over the tops of the cheekbones, looks perfect as a base on the eyelids, and highlights the brow bone beautifully. It's also perfect for adding a sheer wash of shimmer over the collarbones when the temperatures warm up and you're showing a bit more skin.
YSL Volupté Tint in Oil #6 : I held off for quite a bit before I finally decided I needed one of these in my makeup stash. After reading reviews and learning a bit more about the product I decided it would be a perfect edition for summer/warmer months. The product glides on super smooth, is incredibly easy to apply, and as the oil wears off it leaves behind the prettiest stain. The color range is filled with peaches and pinks - perfect for warmer weather. I love wearing this with light, dewy skin, a pop of pink on the cheeks, and minimal eye makeup.
NARS Dual Intensity Blush 'Fervor' : Since yesterday's post was filled with rave reviews over this product and the brush, I'll save the long paragraph. The formula is beautiful (per usual with NARS blushes) and the color payoff is incredible. You don't need a lot to make an impact with these. They layer beautifully and look gorgeous on their own.
NARS Yachiyo Kabuki Brush : This brush is one I've been lusting after for quite some time. It's perfectly constructed to fit right in the apples of the cheek or under the cheekbone for contouring. My only wish is that it didn't shed quite so much.
