Tula Skincare | Morning Routine

When skincare brand Tula reached out to be and asked if they could send a few products my way I first did a little research about the brand. I'm fairly particular about what exactly I'm putting on my face (a few bad reactions after some spur of the moment skincare purchases can do that to you), but after reading up on Tula I was really impressed.

I only received the products a few weeks ago - so this is more of a first impressions post. Since my nighttime routine is set, I've slowly been incorporating these products into my morning skincare - one by one.

Tula (the Sanskrit word for balance) was created by gastroenterologist Dr. Roshini Raj. The line is free of parabens and phtalates; and centers around the study of probiotics not only being good for your body internally, but also externally. Probiotics have been shown to help decrease UV sensitivity, increase skin elasticity, and boost collagen production.

The first product I incorporated into my routine was the eye cream. I was lacking a good eye cream (I've actually never been one to routinely apply one) so I was super excited to try this one out. The formula is thick and hydrating and helps de-puff my under eye area. My dark circles are my biggest complaint about my skin, and eye cream has definitely helped create a smooth base for applying product.

The second product I added in was the serum. The consistency of this one is a bit different from the REN serum I use at night and it is perfect for daytime use. Some serums can leave an oily feel to the skin, but this one does not. It dries down really well and leaves a smooth base for applying moisturizer and then product. A few days after adding the serum, I began using the moisturizer in the mornings as well. The moisturizer feels super luxurious and applies like a dream. It's hydrating and creates a smooth, well prepped base for makeup in the morning. I can definitely say that this moisturizer has helped me achieve a smooth, dewy base for makeup each morning I have used it.

Lastly is the cleanser. This is the one product I haven't used quite as much, but I definitely like the results so far. During application it foams slightly - something that worried me a bit at first since I usually prefer cleansers with a milky texture. But upon finishing my skin felt smooth and soft - not tight, which is what my primary concern was.

Overall, I have been thoroughly impressed with everything I have seen from the products so far. I'm excited to keep using them and look forward to going through the steps each morning. It's a great way to feel refreshed and ready for each day.

*All product mentioned in this post was provided to my by Tula, however all thoughts and opinions are my own. I have not been compensated for this review.

  1. Oh I love the Tula Serum as a base cause it gives a tiny bit of luminosity to the face and like you said doesn't leave your face greasy.
