Mini Drugstore Haul

As much as I love my high end products I also love a good peek around the drugstore to see what's new and exciting. With a few new releases for Spring and also a few UK based product finds, I figured there was no better time than now to share!

L'Oreal La Palette Nude: I was lucky enough to get my hands on the new L'Oreal palette (released only in the UK so far) via a friend's friend and couldn't be happier with it. Not only is it beautiful it also has a really gorgeous color range. The shades are neutral but instead of my typical browns it's filled with rosy shades.  The pigmentation is great and they apply beautifully.

L'Oreal Brow Stylist Plumper: This one I have mixed thoughts on - I've yet to really fall head over heels in love with any brow gel (I like the formula of the Maybelline one, yet the brush is hard to work with). While the wand on this one is fantastic in comparison to the bulky Maybelline version I have to be really careful when applying the product. I find that my brows can look a bit overdone and be a bit to crunchy if I even slightly over apply the product. Once I get the perfect application routine down I think this one will be much more of a makeup bag staple.

Maybelline Color Sensational Rebel Bloom Lipstick 'Peach Poppy': This vibrant, peachy lipstick was everything I was looking for this Spring! It gives just the right amount of color, is hydrating, and pairs perfectly with my coveted Clarins balm. Definitely a winning formula here and I want to scoop up a few more colors.

La Roche Posay: I wrote about this product last week [HERE] but wanted to include it in this post as well since it is a more recent "drugstore" find. The French pharmacy brand is well known for their amazing products and this one (while it does seem to be glorified water to an extent) does a great job of adding in moisture and helping my makeup look less cakey.

What drugstore products have you been loving as of late? Do share!

  1. I am beyond obsessed with that palette. One of my absolute favorites I own. I like the sound of the La Roche Posey, may need to give it a try!

  4. Really?! The other night when I was linking everything up for this post I couldn't find the palette anywhere on US sites. Where were you able to snag it?

  9. I love the Brow Artist Plumper, especially as a cheaper alternative to Gimme Brow. I haven't tried the Maybelline one, and I haven't come across a good review of that yet, so I probably won't!

  10. I love the formula of the Maybelline one (doesn't make my brows feel crunchy lol) but the wand is difficult to work with in my opinion!

  11. That eyeshadow palate is beautiful! Would be a great alternative to the UD Naked one for sure! And brow gel is a new concept for me, I may have to try that sometime, but for now a bit of brown shadow works for me ;)
