Happy Weekend | Flower Friday

Happy Friday everyone! This has been such a cold, crazy weather week here. Yesterday's low was 0 and today's is 5; so I'm definitely ready to for a cozy weekend at home. I've been buying two bunches of flowers during my grocery run lately and I think it's to compensate for all the cold, winter weather. The more fresh flowers I have around the house the more I can convince myself that Spring will be here soon.

What are some of your favorite ways to combat the winter blues and cheer you up?

  1. I am so ready for winter to be over, too Faith! It's been consistently in the negative temps here in NY! I drink lots of tea, exercise, and also buy fresh flowers to cope. Spring is less than a month away though, thank goodness! Stay warm and have a cozy weekend.

    1. Tea - yes! I'm actually about to go make a cup now. Ahh one more month to go and hopefully we will be in the clear. Hope you had a great weekend :)

  2. B and I made brownies with Ice Cream last night... I think we forgot it was cold out, and sat bundled up on the sofa all night wearing socks and snuggled under blankets. Flowers make me happy, but chocolate makes me happier!

have a great weekend, Faith! Stay warm!

    1. YUM! The warm brownies totally makeup for the ice cream being cold lol. That dessert sounds amazing!

  3. Fresh flowers are like sun for the apartment, they brighten up the whole space. The same goes for bright lipstick :)

  4. Chocolate, pinot grigio, and Netflix marathons tend to brighten up dull winter weekends for me! :)
