Raise your hand if you made it through yesterday's crazy long post! Today it's onto the second part of the best of 2014 - the skincare, hair, and fragrance favorites! This bit was a bit easier to narrow done and contains some fantastic skin savers.
REN Radiance Perfection Serum: Right as I was losing hope for ever having a smooth, even finish to my skin I discovered REN products. The combo of this serum and their Evercalm cream (noted below) completely transformed my dry skin. I use this every night after cleansing before I apply the moisturizer.
REN Evercalm Day Cream: Even though this says day cream I use this both before bed and in the morning. It is super moisturizing without being too heavy. Perfect to combine with the serum.
No7 Hot Cloth Cleanser: I think I'm on maybe my fourth bottle of this stuff, I cannot live without it. It removes all of makeup and unlike oil based cleansers doesn't break me out. The best part of this product is the muslin cloth that really works at taking away the day's makeup while gently exfoliating.
Beautycounter Routine Clean Cleanser: Definitely the best morning time cleanser I've used this year. It is gentle, has a slight citrus smell that is super refreshing in the morning, and preps my skin for the day's makeup.
Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream: New to my routine but a definite staple. I love it for my super dry lips in the winter but it also works so well for cuticles, hands, and brow defining. The formula is super thick and hydrating.
Bumble & Bumble Prét-à-Powder: My favorite dry shampoo of the year and it's also the most long lasting. I tried quite a few other brands that I liked, but after a few weeks they ran out. I have had this product for months now. Along with a dry shampoo it is also the perfect product for adding texture and volume.
Bumble & Bumble Invisible Oil Conditioner: Like many others, I too loved this product. While conditioning it also leaves my hair with a great texture - like that of second day hair.
Jo Malone 'Peony & Blush Suede'*: My favorite warm weather fragrance. I have actually never gotten so many compliments on a fragrance until I started wearing this one. It is light and floral but the suede helps this fragrance transition into cooler weather/fall.
Jo Malone 'Wood Sage & Sea Salt'*: This has been my other go to fragrance the past few months. Unlike the Peony & Blush Suede this one is a bit cleaner, filled with rustic scents of the coastline.
