Hooray for another monthly favorites post! This month has quite a few new goodies plus a few repeat/older items.
Milani Baked Blush, 'Luminoso': This blush was featured in a post back over the summer and I recently pulled it back out and have been incorporating it into my makeup routine almost daily. It gives the perfect peachy/pink glow, and the baked formula allows it to have a nice glow. The color works well with dramatic eyes or dramatic lips. It's a great all rounder.
Jo Malone, 'Wood Sage & Sea Salt' c/o: This fragrance has been on my list for quite some time now, so when it arrived on my doorstep I was ecstatic. I have been wearing this one daily as well. The scent is clean and fresh and perfect for daytime. You can read more about my description of the fragrance in this post.
Tom Ford, Cognac Sable Eyeshadow quad [c/o Sarah]: To begin with, Sarah is basically the best beauty-blogger friend I could ever ask for! She knew that this palette was super high on my wish list and since she had an extra one she kindly brought it to me when we went for dinner the other night. It is comprised of four deep, rust toned shades perfect for a warm smokey eye. This palette works well for daytime wear as well. I've been regularly using the creamy beige shade as my base with the copper sparkle lightly dusted over the top. The formula is buttery soft, super pigmented, and there is little to no fall out.
Olay Total Effects, CC Cream: This product received an entire blog post a few weeks ago (seen here) sharing my love for the formula. Since it has currently become slightly too dark for my super pale winter skin tone, I plan to snag it in the lighter color. It gives great coverage while keeping my skin super hydrated (the finish is super dewy).
Beautycounter, Lip Conditioner: I was introduced to Beautycounter via Reagan at our Barre event and have fallen in love with their products. (Full post reviewing all three items I snagged is coming tomorrow.) My absolute favorite has to be the lip conditioner. I have notoriously dry, chapped lips. (I'm trying to drink more water, but my lips never seem to benefit from the extra H2O.) I put this balm on every night before bed and each morning after brushing my teeth. It has a permanent spot on my bedside table. The minty finish leaves a nice tingly (and a great taste) and the formula is super hydrating.
M•A•C Lip Pencil, 'Whirl' & M•A•C Lipstick, Creme Cup: This liner also made an appearance on my blog over the summer. I snagged it when the Kylie Jenner lip craze first began to try an emulate her amazing "dark nude, better than your lips" color. This time around I have been combining it with my favorite "Kim K nude" lipstick. Together they make the perfect color - darker base with a touch of the froster pink in the center.
