Tuesday Morning Chat

How crazy is it that October is coming to a close? This weekend marks the start to November and the end of daylight savings. I find the older I get the faster time moves, and this month is one I'm really sad to see go. October is without a doubt one of my favorite months. The temperatures are just right, the Fall foliage is stunning (aka the trees aren't dead yet), as the days come to a close I feel as though everything is washed in a glow, and the holidays are right around the corner.

Enough of my rambling thoughts on the month of October...here's a round up of things from this month.

Wearing: Lots & lots of sweaters + scarves. Most of which have come from H&M.

Eating: Soups (I've been making homemade soups lately, and they are super easy.) My two favorites are Chicken Noodle & Butternut Squash. Also, I've been drinking loads of dirty chai. Dirty Chai = Chai Tea Latte + Espresso...YUM.

Reading: My dear friend Kait gave me 'In My Shoes', a book by the CEO of Jimmy Choo. I haven't been able to read too much but it is wonderful so far.

Following: Lately I've been loving Olivia's blog (What Olivia Did). Her style is so on point and her (and her photos) are just gorgeous!

Watching: Dancing With The Stars...I'm such a sucker for all the male dancers. Love me some Val & Derek, oh and Mark...the list goes on and on.

Favorite Beauty Buy: So tricky to pick just one. I'm having a major moment with the NARS Satin Lip Pencil in Mandore at the moment though.

  1. I need to start making homemade soups, so much nicer than buying them from the supermarket!
