Creamy Mint Cocktail

Since it's not quite Mojito season I decided to whip up a more winter themed cocktail to use up the last of my mint leaves. This combination is creamy, icey cold, and deliciously minty.

You'll need :
1] 1 & 1/2 parts vodka
2] 1 part heavy cream
3] 1 part simple syrup*
4] 4 drops of mint extract
5] mint leaves for garnish

Combine your vodka, cream, syrup, and mint extract over ice in a cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously and strain into glass of choice. Top with fresh mint.

To make the simple syrup :
2 parts syrup with 1 part water. Bring the water o a boil & add sugar. Stir until sugar melts and mixture becomes thick.
