Apple Crisp

I found this Apple Crisp recipe by chance and had almost all the ingredients at home already so I decided to whip it up the other night. It was so simple to toss together and about an hour later I had a kitchen that smelled like fall heaven and a warm dessert. I read a lot of the reviews to this recipe before making it and decided to follow the advice of many and only use half the amount of water it called for. I'm glad I did because the recipe worked out perfectly that way.

ps : Quick cooking oats can be found at Whole Foods and they are in that fabulous selection that allows you to purchase as little or as much as you'd like!

  1. Yum! I love apple crisp. I have never made it before, but the recipe doesn't seem to hard! Beautiful photos, also :)

    1. Thanks Brooke! It was actually beyond simple, the longest part was letting it bake. The best part is most all of the ingredients are ones I already keep in the house to bake with.
