*Fall in New York

Well, it's still very much an Indian Summer here on the East Coast. I had been so looking forward to running around Manhattan in my leather jacket, booties, & skinny jeans; grabbing cappuccinos and apple cider. In reality I was sweating around New York in shorts and short sleeves, grabbing green tea lemonades! I was able to get in at least one day of skinny jeans and ankle boots & even with the heat the city sure was dressed for October. Leaves falling to the ground, fall florals out, & gourds and pumpkins on street corners. It was a fantastic weekend in the city and I'm already looking forward to my next trip up there.

  1. Beautiful! I am looking forward to cooler weather as well—I live in CT so I am having the same kind of weather as you. I decided to just go ahead and wear my combat boots today, but it is so warm!! Oh well, at least we have the beautiful changing leaves :) I'm sure soon enough we will be complaining about it being too cold haha

    1. Thanks Lucy! I was just laughing about the colors this morning; one would never know it was almost 90 degrees from the coloring in these images!

    1. Thank you! These photos are actually shot with my iPhone 5. Most of my blog is shot with my Canon SLR though.
